VakıfBank, the team that won the FIVB Club World Championship the most with 3 championships, will play its first match against Altay in the 2021 FIVB Club World Championship
In the tournament to be held in Ankara Sports Hall on 15-19 December 2021, the yellow-blacks will compete in Group B. VakıfBank’s first game in Ankara is against Altay on Thursday, 16 December at 15.00. The next day, at 18.30, the team will face Minas Tennis Clube.

VakıfBank Captain Melis Gürkaynak said: “This tournament didn’t play last season because of the pandemic so this year we are more motivated. We started the season with a goal of 5 trophies and this is one of the most important. Ankara loves volleyball and our biggest chance will be to play in front of the Ankara fans”

In the 2021 FIVB Club World Championship, the teams that complete their groups in the first two places will be matched diagonally. After the semi-finals on 18 December, the final match will be on 19 December.
