VakıfBank win the first match in the Club World Championship

 

VakıfBank started the 2021 FIVB Women's Club World Championship with the Kazakh team Altay match. Playing in Group B, the yellow-blacks won the game 3-0 and started the tournament with a win. Isabelle Haak was the top scorer of the game with 15 points in VakıfBank; Chiaka Ogbogu scored 12 and Zehra Güneş 11 points.

VakıfBank, the team that won the FIVB Club World Championship the most with 3 championships, defeated Altay 3-0 in the first match at the 2021 FIVB Club World Championship.

In Ankara Spor Salonu, the yellow-black players started the match strongly and managed to win the first set 25-13. Not slowing down in the second set, VakıfBank brought the game to 2-0 with a score of 25-10. VakifBank, won the third set 25-17 and the match 3-0.

Tomorrow, VakıfBank will face Minas Tennis Clube at 18.30 to be the leader of Group B. In the 2021 FIVB Club World Championship, the teams that complete their groups in the first two places will be matched diagonally. After the semi-finals on 18 December, the final match will be on 19 December.
