VakıfBank’s Board Members visited Sarajevo Volleyball School

VakıfBank General Manager and Sports Club President Abdi Serdar Üstünsalih visited VakıfBank’s volleyball school in Sarajevo and met with the young athletes.

Üstünsalih said: “You are valuable members of our VakıfBank family and VakıfBank Sports Club is a home for you. I believe that you will seize the opportunity to answer for the efforts of your coaches and especially your family and you will make Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina and VakıfBank proud”.

3 times FIVB Club World Championship and 4 times CEV Champions League champion VakıfBank’s volleyball school in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted VakıfBank General Manager and Sports Club President Abdi Serdar Üstünsalih and Board Members of VakıfBank and Sports Club.

Üstünsalih met with the athletes and coaches at Sarajevo Volleyball School and shared the happiness of the young athletes and their families.

In his speech, Üstünsalih mentioned that Sarajevo Volleyball School is a part of the VakıfBank family and said: “You are valuable members of our VakıfBank family and VakıfBank Sports Club is a home for you. I believe that you will seize the opportunity to answer for the efforts of your coaches and especially your family and you will make Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina and VakıfBank proud. Considering the results we have achieved so far and the contentment we have had from the 6 athletes we have selected for our youth team, it becomes clear once again that this volleyball school was a great investment for us.”

VakıfBank has 8 volleyball schools

Along with Sarajevo, VakıfBank has eight volleyball schools, three in Istanbul, two in Ankara, one in Izmir and one in Bursa. In these schools, girls are trained by expert and experienced coaches. Students who show sufficient persistence and discipline are given a certificate of participation and also selected talented students are accepted to the VakıfBank Youth Teams.
