VakıfBank Volleyball Team becomes the champion of the Turkish League for the 10th time and the champion in the CEV European Champions League and the FIVB Club World Championship for a second year in a row, now bringing home the titles of CEV European Championship for the 4th time and the FIVB Club World Championship for the 3rd time. VakıfBank Sports Club opens its VakıfBank Volleyball School in Sarajevo, becoming the first Turkish sports club to open such an institution in Europe.

VakıfBank SC Women’s Volleyball Team wins the second place in the Champion Clubs Cup, bringing Turkey the first international prize. The volleyball team wins the Turkish League championship and the Turkish Cup for a second year in a row.

VakıfBank SC once more brings pride to Turkey by playing in the Champion Clubs Cup finals for a second year in a row.
2000
2000
VakıfBank SC and Güneş Sigorta SC merge and continue on their path under the name of VakıfBank Güneş Sigorta. After the merger the İstanbul-based team remains in the top league while the Ankara-based team withdraws from the first league and competes in the lower leagues. VakıfBank Güneş Sigorta team wins the third place in the CEV Cup in the same year.
2004
VakıfBank wins the CEV European Top Teams Cup Championship and places the team’s first international cup in their museum. The team becomes the champion of the Turkish League.

VakıfBank signs a name sponsorship agreement with Türk Telekom before the 2009-2010 season and the club is re-registered as VakıfBank Güneş Sigorta and the volleyball team as VakıfBank Güneş Sigorta Türk Telekom.

With a decision prior to the 2011-2012 season Güneş Sigorta withdraws from sponsorship and the club is renamed as VakıfBank Sports Club and the volleyball team as VakıfBank Türk Telekom. VakıfBank Türk Telekom team wins the European Champions League and makes it to the finals of the World Championship.

The sponsorship agreement with Türk Telekom expires and the team’s name is once more changed to VakıfBank. While the Ankara-based team continues on its path as Ankara VakıfBank Sports Club, with a decision taken in 2012 the club merges with Karşıyaka Sports Club and is renamed as Ankara Karşıyaka Sports Club. With this merger marks VakıfBank’s withdrawal from Ankara.
2013
VakıfBank Volleyball Team wins the Turkish League, the Turkish Cup, the Turkish Super Cup, the CEV European Champions League and the FIVB Club World Championship, becoming the only team to gain the title of “An invincible team that has won all the championships a volleyball team can win.”

The team maintains its success as the champion of the Turkish League, the Turkish Cup, the Turkish Super Cup, and the runner-up of the CEV European Champions League.
VakıfBank Volleyball Team wins all 73 of the official games from 23 October 2012 to 22 January 2014 and finds its place in the Guinness World Records for “The most consecutive volleyball victories in all competitions” title.

As the group leader in the CEV European Champions League, VakıfBank defeats Dinamo Kazan, the previous year's champion, and Fenerbahçe in the play-offs and makes it to the Final Four. VakıfBank completes the Final Four in Szczecin in the third place.

VakıfBank Women’s Volleyball Team wins the championship in the Turkish League, the second place in the CEV European Champions League, and the third place in the FIVB Club World Championship.
