Caterina Bosetti is at VakıfBank

Continuing its work in line with the new season squad planning, VakıfBank added Italian spiker Caterina Bosetti, born in 1994, to its squad. The player's father, Guiseppe Bosetti, and his mother, Franca Bardelli, also served as coaches in VakıfBank infrastructure between 2017 and 2022.

Born on February 2, 1994 in Busto Arsizio, Italy, Bosetti previously played for Cooprimavera Orago, Asystel MC Carnaghi Villa Cortese, Nestle Osasco, Galatasaray, Igor Gorgonzola Novara, Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena, Pomi Casalmaggiore. In 2020, she returned to her former team Igor Gorgonzola Novara and played for the Italian team until 2024. She joined VakıfBank before the 2024-2025 season.

The Italian player was selected as the MVP in the 2010 Junior European Championship, the best headliner in the 2011 U18 European Championship, the best attacking player in the 2011 U20 World Championship and became the most valuable player of the same tournament. Bosetti, the most valuable player of the 2012-2013 Italian Super Cup, managed to become the best spiker of the 2021-2022 Italian League.
