VakıfBank, Turkey's team that won the most international trophies, transferred Kiera Van Ryk in line with the new season squad structure. The Canadian passer, who is the top scorer of the 2023-2024 season in the Sultans League, will play for the yellow-black jersey next season.
Kiera Van Ryk, who was born on January 6, 1999 in New Westmister, Canada, stepped into Europe with the Italian team Zanetti Bergamo in the 2019-2020 season after her career at the University of British Columbia in 2017-2019. The successful player, who also plays for the Canadian National Team, played for the Polish team DevelopRes SkyRes Rzeszow in the 2020-2021 season, and then spent the last three seasons at Turkish Airlines, one of the Sultans League teams. Kiera Van Ryk, one of the most effective players of the Sultans League with her performance, managed to become the league's top scorer with 581 points in the 2023-2024 season.
