Born in Mersin on October 24, 2000, Derya Cebecioğlu started playing volleyball at the age of 14 in VakıfBank Youth Team. Derya Cebecioğlu, who won the cup with VakıfBank in the Turkish Cup in under ages and won the Turkish championship twice in a row with the VakıfBank Youth Team. Derya, who played in Bahçelievler Volleyball Club on loan, succeeded in becoming the Balkan champion in 2014 with the Junior National Team. Cebecioğlu, who took place in the squads of the U18 and U20 National Teams, ranked fourth in the world, had the second place in the Balkan Championship and the fourth place in the European Championship with the U19 National Team.
Promoted to VakıfBank A Team in 2018, Derya Cebecioğlu won two FIVB World Club Championships, two Turkish League titles, a CEV Champions League, a Turkish Cup and a Turkish Super Cup championship in the yellow and blacks. During her loaned period at Sistem 9 Yeşilyurt, Derya became the champion in the 2021 CEV Challenge Cup.
