Dear Volleyball Fans

As we continue to experience the excitement of the 2023-2024 season, I greet you with love and respect.

I am happy to have completed 2023 as the biggest team in Europe and the second largest in the world, and I would like to sincerely congratulate our team members who contributed to our achievements. We are also honored to have given our country the pride of the Turkish Final in the European Champions League and Club World Championship in the 100th anniversary of our Republic.

As in every season, we want to be at the top in all the lanes we compete in this season. The outstanding struggle of our team in the Champions Cup competition at the beginning of the season and the trophy it won at the end of the season enabled us to achieve the first of our goals.

Of course, I would also like to mention the achievements of Turkish volleyball in the 100th anniversary of our Republic. As Turkish volleyball, we had the Turkish Final in both Europe and the world in clubs, and we were at the top of the world at the national team level. Our Women's National Team, the pride of our country, made us proud by winning gold medals in the Nations League and European Championship. They repeated the same success in the Olympic Qualifiers and qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

“Filenin Sultanları” made history as the first team in Turkish sports history to become European champions in team sports. Reaching the championships we are accustomed to on a team basis at the national team level gave us the best of happiness.

We were proud of each and every one of our girls, many of whom grew up in our hands, became a part of the VakıfBank family for years and took the field in the national uniform. If everyone else was doubly happy, we were doubly happy. I sincerely congratulate everyone who has contributed to these great achievements from yesterday to today.

Also in the lower age categories, around 20 girls represented our country this summer. They brought medals and won individual awards in the tournaments they participated in. As we always state, VakıfBank infrastructure is the apple of our eye. We emphasize it at least as much as the first team. In some matters, we are even more meticulous.

We are not only European and World Champions. As it is written on the wall of our volleyball school, we train European and World Champion volleyball players. In a way that we consider more valuable than the trophies in our museum, we are raising people who are useful to society and talented athletes for Turkish volleyball.

Built with our own resources, VakıfBank Sports Palace is one of the most modern sports facilities in Turkey and one step ahead of its counterparts around the world. In this hall, which is our home, we host hundreds of athletes and prospective athletes together with our youth players and sports school students.

With 37 years behind us, we will continue to take the right steps for many more years in women's volleyball, which we see as Turkey's most successful and longest-running social responsibility project. These steps will lead both VakıfBank and our country to many more championships.

As VakıfBank Sports Club, we are the most systematic volleyball club in the world. We are the natural favorites in all the tournaments we participate in every year. In the new year, we aspire for every trophy we will compete for again.

This season, we will work with all our strength to make our fans happy, who support us and are always with us for VakıfBank's success. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our fans who fill our stands every match and invite them to our hall this year as well.

In closing, I wish the new year to be auspicious for our country, our nation, all our teams and the volleyball community.
